Serape
A sarape (also Zarape or Jorongo ) is a material that is a traditional component of the male Mexican costume, but can fulfill different functions. Originally the serape was wrapped around the body, provided with a hole, it can be worn as a poncho and is called a jorongo .

Sarapes are woven from wool or cotton and mostly have traditional patterns. The sun often appears as a motif. Their value depends on the material, thread thickness, technical perfection and size of the entire fabric.
