José Manuel López López
José Manuel López López (* 1956 in Madrid ) is a Spanish composer of new music .
López studied piano, composition and conducting in Madrid . He then studied musicology in Paris . In 1997 he received a scholarship from the Spanish Academy of Fine Arts in Rome . José-Manuel López-López is a professor at the University of Paris VIII and in 2007 was appointed artistic director of the Auditorio Nacional de musica in Spain.
On June 19, 2003, his 17-minute work for violin and ensemble Le parfum de la lune was premiered in Dijon .
