José Moratón Taeño (born July 14, 1979 in Santander , Cantabria ) is a Spanish football player who plays for UD Salamanca in the Spanish Segunda División .
Player career
Born in Cantabria, José Moratón has played for his hometown club, Racing Santander , since he began his professional football career in 2000 . Before that, he played in the Northern Spaniards' B team.
He was used in almost 200 league games for racing. In recent years, however, he has lost his regular place due to the strong competition in defense. So it happened that José Moratón was only used in a single league game in the 2006/2007 season.
