Josephine Serre

Joséphine Serre (born December 14, 1982 ) is a French film and television actress who was best known for her role as "Babou" in the French crime series Julie Lescaut .

Career

Joséphine Serre completed a three-year acting course at the Ecole Florent in Paris and attended workshops and internships at the renowned Théâtre du Soleil and the Studio-théâtre d'Asnières . With her supporting role as "Babou" in the long-running TV series Julie Lescaut , she became known to a larger audience in France. She played this role in 59 episodes of the series since she was eight before leaving the team in 2004. J.Serre also does theater, for example in the play Les Saintes amantes by Guy Shelley at the Théâtre du Nord-Ouest and at the Lucernaire . She had her first major role in a movie in 1996 in Franco Zeffirelli's literary film adaptation of Jane Eyre .

Her sister Léopoldine Serre is also an actress.
