Josef Renner (gymnast)
Josef Renner was a German gymnast who did gymnastics for TSV Geislingen.
Life
At the end of March / beginning of April 1938 he did gymnastics as a member of the German team on an advertising trip in Austria. For this trip, 36 top German gymnasts were gathered in two German teams.
From October 24th to 28th, 1938, he attended an Olympic training course for the Reich core team in Leipzig.
On January 22nd, 1939 he was the gymnast at the Reich competitions in Gera 4.
In 1938 and 1939 he was a member of the Olympic squad for the 1940 Olympic Games in Helsinki, which were then not held due to the war.
After 1945 he was able to build on his successes before the Second World War.
In 1950 he was still counted among the top ten gymnasts in Germany.
