Joseph Rovan Prize

The Joseph Rovan Prize of the French Ambassador to Germany is endowed with 3,000 euros and is awarded to the German-French Societies (DFG), which make a special contribution to the cultural dialogue between Germany and France and to new target groups or language promotion have made.

The prize has been awarded annually since 2006 and honors its namesake, the great historian and architect of Franco-German friendship Joseph Rovan (1918–2004).
