The Journal of Egyptian History has been a scientific journal that has been published annually since 2008, focusing on topics from Egyptology , papyrology and ancient oriental studies . It was created with the aim of writing a comprehensive history of Egypt from the Neolithic to the modern reception of ancient Egypt. Accordingly, the printed articles deal not only with the political but also with the social and economic history of Egypt, the intellectual history and the modern history of reception.
