The Journal of Modern Turkish History Studies ( Turkish Çağdaş Türkiye Tarihi Araştırmaları Dergisi ) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal on the history of Turkey , including the Ottoman Empire , which has been published every six months since 1991 . The articles appear in Turkish, English, French and German.
The editorial department of the journal is based at Ataturk İlkeleri ve İnkılap Tarihi Enstitüsü of the Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi in Izmir. The editorial board includes Kemal Arı , Kenan Kirkpinar , Ahmet Mehmetefendioğlu and Türkan Başyiğit .
