Judaism
Judaism describes the attitude of those Jewish Christians of the New Testament times who wanted to oblige the Gentile Christians to circumcision and the Old Testament ceremonial law. Some Jewish Christians of the early Jerusalem community took this view. The so-called Apostle Council ( Acts 15 EU ) was held to clarify this issue .
The opposite position can be described as a law-free Gentile mission , as it was practiced especially by Paul . Anti-Judaism, on the other hand, denotes a comprehensive hostility towards Jews, so it is not the opposite of the Judaism described here.
