Julia Kleine

Julia Valeska Kleine (born November 4, 1984 in Cologne , North Rhine-Westphalia) is a German television and radio presenter , reporter and voice actress .

life and career

Julia Valeska Kleine grew up in the Bergisch Gladbach area . After graduating from the Integrated Comprehensive School Paffrath (IGP) there, she began studying media and communication studies at the German Sport University in Cologne in 2004 . She graduated in 2009 with a degree in sports science in these subjects.

During her studies, Kleine completed a television traineeship at the television station NRW.TV and the DPA in Düsseldorf. There she gained her first experience as a moderator and reporter. In 2010 the leap to the local edition Sat.1 17:30 in Dortmund was made, in 2012 the Cologne-based woman moved to the Isar for the 24-hour sports news channel Sky Sport News HD in Unterföhring. Since July 16, 2014, Kleine has hosted WDR Local Time Ruhr from Essen until 2017. Since 2015, she has presented local time from Cologne .

Until she was twenty, Kleine competed professionally in ski races. Due to an accident, however, she had to hang up her skis in 2005.
