Juris Pūce

Juris Pūce (born January 22, 1980 in Riga ) is a Latvian politician of the Latvijas attīstībai . Since January 2019 he has been Minister for Environmental Protection and Regional Development of the Republic of Latvia.
Life
Pūce studied law and economics at the University of Latvia . He has been chairman of the liberal party Latvijas attīstībai (For Latvia's Development) since 2014 . In the parliamentary elections in Latvia in 2018 , he succeeded as a representative of the liberal party alliance Attīstībai / Par! moving into the Saeima , the Latvian Parliament. He is a member of the new Kariņš Cabinet as Minister for Environmental Protection and Regional Development.
