The jeweler Weiss GmbH was a German jeweler - chain stores based in North Rhine-Westphalia Hagen , the last year of their independent existence as a subsidiary of Douglas Holding a turnover of 270 million DM in 88 locations achieved. The Hussel Holding AG took over the Juwelier Weiss GmbH in 1979. In 1993 the Juwelier Weiss GmbH opened the 75th specialist store and achieved a turnover of 260 million DM. The branch network expanded until the merger with the Christ Juweliere und Uhrmacher since 1863 GmbH to 88 specialty stores. With the merger of Juwelier Weiss GmbH with Christ Juweliere und Uhrmacher seit 1863 GmbH on January 1, 1995, the company's independence ended.
