The King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies ( Arabic مركز الملك فيصل للبحوث والدراسات الإسلامية, DMG Markaz al-Malik Faiṣal li-l-buḥūṯ wa-d-dirāsa al-islāmiyya ; engl. King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies, abbreviated KFCRIS) is considered the cultural branch of the King Faisal Foundation (King Faisal Foundation;مؤسسة الملك فيصل الخيرية) in Saudi Arabia and is named in honor of King Faisal ibn Abd al-Aziz . The chairman is Turki ibn Faisal . The General Secretary is Yahya Mahmud bin Junayd . It was founded in 1983 and is headquartered in the city of Riyadh , Saudi Arabia.
