Assault (Poland)

Bodily harm is physical abuse or damage to the health of another person, constitutes a criminal offense under Articles 156 and 157 of the Polish Criminal Code and is punishable by a fine or imprisonment .

Even comparatively minor, negligent bodily harm, which can occur, for example, in a traffic accident and which must be treated for more than seven days, can lead to criminal proceedings and is threatened with imprisonment of three months to five years.
