Kül-Tigin inscription

The Kül-Tigin inscription is a grave and memorial inscription carved in stone for the old Turkish general and statesman Kül Tigin . It is one of several Old Turkish runic inscriptions on the Orkhon River in Mongolia .

These 6th and 7th century inscriptions form the first written literary works by the Turks .
