Pumpkin Ale

Pumpkin Ale is a popular type of beer in North America; especially on Halloween and Thanksgiving . Main ingredient besides water and barley and other malts are the Pumpkin mentioned types of squash .

history

Brewing beer with pumpkins dates back to 1771. The first commercial pumpkin ale came from Buffalo Bill's Brewery in Hayward, California in the 1980s. The recipe for this is based on George Washington's brewing studies .
