Kęstutis Bartkevičius (born March 2, 1961 in Mažeikiai ) is a Lithuanian politician.

Life

After graduating from high school in 1979 at the 1st Mažeikiai Middle School , Bartkevičius graduated from the Vilniaus valstybinis universitetas with a degree in economics in 1985 . From 1984 to 1986 he was a worker. From 1986 to 1989 Bartkevičius worked as deputy head of the Mažeikiai building restoration, from 1989 to 1990 head. From 1993 to 1999 he was the general manager of UAB “Mažeikių Varduva”. From 1999 to 2002 he worked in the port of Klaipėda . From 1997 to 2000 and from 2003 to 2012 he was a member of the council of the municipality, deputy mayor of the Mažeikiai district . He has been a member of the Seimas since November 2012 .

From 1993 Bartkevičius was a member of Tėvynės sąjunga , from 1999 of Lietuvos liberalų sąjunga , from 2002 of Liberalų Demokratieų partija and from 2006 of Tvarka ir teisingumas .

Bartkevičius is married. With his wife Gražina he has the children Justas and Tadas.
