Kōan (Kamakura period)

Kōan ( Japanese 弘 安 ) is an annual motto ( Nengō ) of the historical Japanese calendar . It falls under the reigns of the Go-Uda - and Fushimi - tennō in the late Kamakura period . According to the Gregorian calendar , it refers to the period from February 29, 1278 to April 28, 1288.
