K-Rauta is a Finnish DIY chain with headquarters in Helsinki . The K-Rauta brand belongs to the listed Kesko Group. K-Rauta is one of the leading Finnish home improvement stores with 40 branches in Finland alone .
The first Swedish K-Rauta hardware store opened in April 1996. Today, K-Rauta is represented in Sweden in Bromma, Eskilstuna, Gävle, Halmstad, Haparanda, Häggvik, Järfälla, Kungens Kurva, Jönköping, Linköping, Malmö, Mölndal, Norrköping, Sundsvall, Södertälje, Täby, Umeå, Uppsala and Väbrojö employs around 1000 people in Sweden alone. In 2012, another store was opened in Linköping in the Swedish province of Östergötland County . There are also K-Rauta hardware stores in Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Norway and Russia.
