The KAI KC-100 Naraon is a light touring aircraft from the South Korean manufacturer Korea Aerospace Industries .

History and construction

KAI began development of the KC-100 in June 2008 with the aim of producing an aircraft that would be 10% more economical than other aircraft in its class. The KC-100 is made almost entirely of composite materials. The machine is designed as a low-wing aircraft and has a non-retractable nose wheel landing gear. Access to the cabin is provided by two doors that open upwards, one on the right and one on the left. The machine is driven by a Continental TSIOF-550-K boxer engine with 235 kW. An optional parachute rescue system is offered.
