KQAC
KQAC ("All Classical Portland") is an American classical music station that supplies the Portland , Oregon community . It was led by Jack Allen (President and CEO) from 2008 to 2017. KQAC is owned by All Classical Public Media , Inc., a non-profit organization. It transmits on 89.9 MHz with 5.9 kW.
KQAC went on air in 2001. They and their relays KQHR and KQOC are all funded by donations. 93 percent of the broadcasters' funding comes directly from Portland people and organizations in Portland, Vancouver , the Oregon Coast and Columbia Gorge . The Corporation for Public Broadcasting provides only a small proportion .
