The 100-mm anti-aircraft gun KS-19 (Russian 100-мм зенитная пушка КС-19 ) was a Soviet anti -aircraft gun . The development came to an end in July 1947 in Plant No. 8 under the direction of the designer LW Lyuljew . In 1949 Factory No. 8 was able to deliver the first 302 guns. From 1950, Plant No. 8 together with Plant No. 235 up to and including 1955 produced a total of 10,151 of these cannons. From 1951 the modernized version KS-19M reached the troops, from 1955 the version KS-19M2. The NVA received this last version . The KS-19 was also produced under license in the VR Poland .

The KS-19 was an anti-aircraft weapon used to combat air targets at medium and high altitudes. The crew was transported on the limber . Batteries with 100 mm anti-aircraft guns are used independently or in conjunction with other anti-aircraft equipment to cover troops during combat operations, on the march and when deploying, and to cover important objects from enemy air attacks .

The main shooting method for the 100 mm anti-aircraft gun was battery-based shooting with a command device. The values determined are transmitted through the central distribution box to the guns and the automatic gearbox of each gun constantly directs the barrel to the side and height of the determined lead point. A well-rehearsed crew could fire up to 15 rounds per minute.

Using the rifle scope, air and ground targets can also be fought by direct aiming.

The KS-19 was also often used in combination with the GRS-9 gun alignment station for increased accuracy .

In the past few years Iran has built an automatic variant of the KS-19 called Sa'er .
