KTBL data collections

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The KTBL data collections are specialist literature on agricultural planning calculations. The figures consist largely of tables. The data collection farm planning agriculture is a standard work that has been published every 2 years by the Board of Trustees for Technology and Construction in Agriculture (KTBL) since 1969 . In addition, data collections on horticulture and viticulture as well as special data collections on individual branches of the company have been published.

content

The KTBL data collections provide a nationwide basis for planning calculations and business assessments in agriculture as well as viticulture and horticulture. In addition, they provide result data on various agricultural production directions as well as methodological tips for solving business issues.

The KTBL data collections were designed primarily for farm managers and their advisors as well as for teaching at agricultural technical schools. Today they have also achieved a high priority in agricultural studies. The data are justiciable and are therefore also used by appraisers and experts. The KTBL data collections differ from other data compilations in that they are tailored to planning calculations. Unlike z. B. Business branch analyzes, the data are generally valid, the data include future developments, e.g. B. with the expected prices, and are partially configured for the specific planning examples as well as work and production processes.

The data collection of operational planning in agriculture is divided into sections on machines and systems, prices for rental machines and services, work processes in plant production, plant production itself, animal production and operational parameters. With the exception of method descriptions, the contents are numerical values in tabular form. Deviating from this, special data collections, e.g. B. on keeping horses, also general information on the branch of the business.

Data sources

Much of the data comes from the KTBL database. Web applications such as the cost calculator animal , the power-plant production cost accounting or engineering and repair costs flank the data collection by providing additional data and planning examples.

The data is routinely processed and updated by the KTBL on behalf of the federal and state governments. An important source of data is the KTBL work program calculation documents , in which, on the basis of a federal-state administrative agreement (AZ 311-3054-0 / 6), the need for updates is determined annually and the data gaps are closed. A program design group (PGG) selects the topics and creates a proposal for the work program for approval by the federal and state business administration officers. In addition, the current projects of the KTBL provide further data.

history

The Board of Trustees for Technology in Agriculture e. V. (KTL) , a forerunner of today's KTBL, published calculation documents for business administration in several folders with loose-leaf collections from 1963 onwards. There were folders for agriculture , horticulture and housekeeping .

Within a few years it became clear that the loose-leaf format in a folder was no longer suitable for the growing amount of data. At the same time, the call for nationwide coordinated data became louder and louder. The KTBL teamed up with other data providers. With the working group of consultant seminars, the Office for Applied Agricultural Business Administration in Munich, the Chambers of Agriculture and the Agricultural and Housekeeping Evaluation and Information Service ( AID ), the KTBL then published the data collection for operational planning in agriculture as a nationwide work in 1969 . The KTBL received editorial support from the State Institute for the Adaptation of Agriculture in Donaueschingen until 1993.

In 2001 the first KTBL data collection with an electronic database was published on CD-ROM . In terms of content, there was a turning point in 2004. On the basis of customer surveys, the farm planning agriculture data collection was redesigned. With the integration of the content of the agriculture pocket book , customers should be able to fall back on a finished result for rough considerations and at the same time find the necessary basic data for more complex planning.

Over the decades, adjustments were made again and again. New production processes, e.g. B. automatic milking systems, and changing field sizes and growing animal numbers found their echo. Agricultural policy support measures , e.g. B. for set-aside , have been shown. In addition to the data collections on agriculture , viticulture and cellar management as well as fruit and vegetable growing , special data collections are published on current topics such as the cultivation of Christmas trees or horse keeping.

The methodological basis is the agricultural planning calculation as described by Schroers and Sauer 2011.
