KTM Comet Racer is a sports mock-up from the Austrian motorcycle manufacturer KTM .
history
The KTM Comet Racer was presented in March 1972 and was KTM's latest bestseller in Austria at the time . The Comet Racer originated from the 500 series Comet whose chassis with tubular frame was used as the base. The product was manufactured in small numbers> 1000 pieces between 1972 and 1973 and was only offered for sale in Austria.
