KVDT

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The KVDT (abbreviation for Kassenärztliche Vereinigung-Datentransfer ) is a data format specified by the KBV ( National Association of Kassenärztliche Bundesvereinigung ) for the transmission of billing information from the doctor to the Kassenärztliche Vereinigung . Communication via a KVDT can only take place in this direction - from the doctor to the responsible association of statutory health insurance physicians.

The introduction of the KVDT has resulted in a significant increase in the quality of the billing data and thus a reduction in administrative work and a reduction in postprocessing in the statutory health insurance associations. For medical practices, the KVDT is an option for faster and simplified billing with less paper and administrative work.
