Lists on the subject

The kabastin is a mace from India and Persia.

description

The Kabastin has a round, straight handle . A chain is attached to the handle, at the end of which there is a double-conical hammer made of metal. The Kabastin is designed similar to the European morning star , with the exception that there are no spikes attached to the striking piece and the weight is usually lighter than the European morning stars. This mace is a rare Indian version. Many of these weapons are decorated with the Indian Koftgari pattern. It is used by ethnic groups in India and Persia.
