Breakout cable
Cable whip describes a special type of adapter for electrical signals: less-pole connectors, which are connected by a relatively short cable , are led out of a multi-pole connector .
One reason for these adapters are often manufacturer-specific connection sockets, which only become standardized connections through the breakout cables. The combination of several sockets into one occurs mostly due to a lack of space on the device.
