Kadiogo Club Ouagadougou

Kadiogo Club Ouagadougou was a football team from Ouagadougou , the capital of the West African state of Burkina Faso , the then Upper Volta.

It came about when it was decided in the 1970s to join forces in the two large cities of the country in order to increase the chances of success on a continental level. At the national level, the club Silures Bobo-Dioulasso was inferior until the concept of regional teams was repealed.

The greatest success was participation in the semi-finals of the African Cup Winners' Cup in 1978 .

The German Otto Pfister is one of the club's former coaches .
