The spa restaurant , which was connected to the terrace café until 1945 , is a historic building in Kyselka . It was declared a monument in 2013 under the new name of the coffee house and, along with the Kyselka spa park and the spring temple, was one of the most popular tourist destinations in the area.

history

The coffee house is located on the southwestern exit of the town in the direction of Karlsbad and is said to have opened in 1908. Pictures show that it already existed as a spa restaurant in the 19th century. Immediately after the end of the war in 1945 it was closed and fell into disrepair. After a failed privatization from 1990 to 1994, it was bought by a German-Russian company headed by US Chalitujev in 1994 and began a renovation. However, work stopped in 1997 shortly before the café was completed. Most of the new materials in the house have been dismantled or stolen. In 2002 the roof structure collapsed. In 2013 an exhibition was held inside the preserved part. In January 2014, parts of the collapsed roof were removed.
