Coffee mill museum Wiernsheim

The Coffee Mill Museum Wiernsheim is a museum for coffee mills established in 2011 in the former rectory of Wiernsheim . It is the largest of its kind. The municipality of Wiernsheim is responsible for the museum.

The foundation of the collection was laid by the legacy of the Wiernsheim entrepreneur and honorary citizen Rolf Scheuermann, who donated over 1200 copies to the community. The opening was in September 2011. Through further donations and purchases, the museum was able to expand its holdings to around 3,000 specimens from the 18th to the early 20th century. The oldest exhibit in the collection dates from 1720.

The listed rectory from 1711 was acquired by the municipality specifically for the establishment of the museum and renovated with federal and state funds.
