Kafir Kala (Arabic / Persian Kāfir Qalʿa, Kāfer Qalʿa, "pagan castle") stands for:

  • Kafirkala , formerly Chelawerd, early medieval fortified city in southwest Tajikistan
  • Kāfer Qalʿa , Sogdian fortress south of the Uzbek city of Samarqand
  • Islam Qala , formerly Kafir Qala, border town in the west of the Afghan province of Herat
