Kaipohue Island is an island in Taraere Bay in the southern arm of Parengarenga Harbor in the Far North District of Northland on the North Island of New Zealand .
The island is about 600 m long, 400 m wide and 14 hectares in size. It is only separated from the mainland by an approximately 150 m wide, shallow canal.
