The Kaleidoskop Band is a German group from Bremen .

The band is assigned to rock and blues and describes their music as "Heavy Rock'n'Roll with a large blues component".

history

The Kaleidoskop Band was revived in 1980 by Günter Blendermann, Dietmar Schmidt and Michael Kobs (Thirsty Moon). They looked for and found blues musicians in Bremen (Hanno Bonsdorf and Hardie Wrieden). The premiere was in Stagges Hotel and New Year's Eve in the Schlachthofkeller. The sound and the first recordings were made by Günther Siedenburg, who opened his own studio (rock farm). In June 1981 the first LP was recorded 100% live in Stagges Hotel in Osterholz-Scharmbeck and released by the Bremen label "Rockfarm Studio".

In 2010, on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of the Nordwest-Zeitung, there was a reunion and a live concert in the Kultur Bahnhof in Bremen-Vegesack under the name "Wilde Zeiten".

On October 8, 2011, the live concert in the Worpsweder Music Hall was recorded. The DVD was released in January 2012.
