Cold glue

As cold glue is cold processable referred glues . They are used in particular to glue wood ( cold wood glue ), i.e. as wood glue .

For several centuries, wood and other materials were primarily bonded with hot glue based on glutin (e.g. bone glue , hide glue , isinglass or rabbit glue ).

Cold glue usually consists of a synthetic or natural resin dispersion in water. In many cases, however, cold glue does not achieve the high durability of correctly performed hot glue.
