Cold evaporation
As cold evaporation is evaporation denotes that no artificial heat supply takes place.
In the area of heat cost allocators , this means evaporation of the measuring liquid through solar radiation or summer temperatures without stressing the radiator . This deviation is compensated for by adding more liquid to be measured ( DIN EN 835).
In the area of air washers, this principle is used to minimize the energy consumption of the device compared to evaporator models. The large surface of the water to be evaporated favors the energy balance.
