Calypso (painter)
Calypso was an ancient Greek painter who worked around 200 BC. Was active. It is used by Pliny the Elder. Ä. mentioned in his Naturalis historia 35, 147. She is said to have painted the portrait of the juggler Theodoros , the portrait of the dancer Alkisthenes and the portrait of an old man .
