Kammburg
A ridge castle is a medieval defense system that was built on a ridge or on a ridge .
The Kammburg is a rarely chosen design. Systems of this type were reasonably well protected due to their location. The only disadvantage was the possibility that the castle could be attacked from two sides.
For a better defense, several castles were usually built in the immediate vicinity.
