The type-not exactly definable Neolithic chamber grave of Dalvraid ( English chambered tomb or chambered cairn ) is located about 100 m east of the Strath Melness Burn, south of the hamlet Dalvraid near West Strathan in the scattered settlement of Melness on the north coast of Sutherland in Scotland .

The remains of the round cairn are about 16.0 m in diameter. Eight curbs are visible. There is a vaulted facade to the west, from which a slightly curved indentation leads about four feet into the cairn. Two large suspended panels lie over the entrance. Two meters further, a U-shaped structure of 1.75 m by 0.8 m made of four panels lies in situ . At the eastern end there is a 0.8 m long and 0.12 m thick plate, which connects to the 0.4 m long and 0.25 m thick only plate on the north side at a right angle. The south side is formed by two slabs measuring 0.5 by 0.1 m and 0.89 by 0.12 m.

The structure is likely part of the end chamber, although it is offset from the aisle.
