Coin of Kamnaskires-Orodes

Kamnaskires-Orodes III. (Aramaic: kbnhkyr wrwd ) was a ruler of the Elymais known only from his numerous coins. His coins bear Aramaic legends and call him a king, and the king's son Orodes, probably from Orodes I . The ruler is usually represented frontally on his coins. There are usually only single lines on the back. The coins are not dated, but for stylistic considerations they are classified in the second century AD.
