Combat suit (Bundeswehr)

Battle dress is the generic term for various uniforms of the armed forces , namely

• the field suit
• the navy on -board and combat suit
• the flight service suit of the flying forces
• the tank combination including the parts worn with it.

Colloquially, the term "combat suit" is mostly used for the combat suit, namely the modification of the field suit with a belt carrying frame along with equipment, backpack and combat helmet with camouflage cover (at least on the man).

Outside of work, training, exercise, combat and combat readiness missions, soldiers of the Bundeswehr usually wear the service suit , which, according to the ZDv of the Bundeswehr, also means wearing the combat or field suit in their free time and on the way to work is generally preferable to the public.
