Kanesdyk

The Kanesdyk , formerly Birkschendyk , is a quarter in Krefeld . It was considered a social problem district, among other things due to the homeless shelters from the 1970s. The 12,000 m² property was sold in January 2014. The accommodations were demolished and houses for 38 families were built on the area. The construction work should be completed in 2017.
