Kano is a computer kit designed to help people of all ages assemble a computer and gain basic programming skills. The kit is based on the Raspberry Pi .

The Kano company launched a crowdfunding campaign on the Kickstarter platform in November 2013 , which raised over 1.5 million US dollars to finance the development of the Kano. A Kano set costs around $ 150. It includes an 8 GB SD card that comes with the Kano OS operating system developed in-house.
