Karaliaus Mindaugo prospektas
Karaliaus Mindaugo prospektas (German King Mindaugas Prospect) is a street ( prospectus ) on the Nemunas Island, named after the Lithuanian King Mindaugas (1203-1263), in the second largest Lithuanian city of Kaunas . The bridges connect the island with the city: Simonas -Daukantas- Bridge with Simonas-Daukantas-Straße and Karmelitų-Bridge with Karaliaus Mindaugo prospektas . Here you will find public facilities ( Žalgirio Arena ), a vocational school ( König Mindaugas vocational training center ) with 3,200 students, an association ( Lietuvos pakuotojų asociacija ), shops ( Akropolis etc.), a Protestant church and the "Impuls" sports club.
