Karl Dohmen
Karl Dohmen (born June 17, 1874 in Cologne ; † 20th century) was a German postal worker.
Career
Dohmen joined the Reichspost in 1893 . After passing the Grand State Examination, he worked in the Reich postal districts of Cologne, Breslau, Magdeburg and Hamburg. On April 1, 1914, he came to the Reichspostzentralamt in Berlin. There he was appointed senior post councilor in 1924 and department director in 1934. Later he was a member of the supervisory board of the Deutsche Fernkabel-Gesellschaft . After the end of the Second World War, he was responsible for the reconstruction of the Deutsche Post in Berlin as chief magistrate director.
He was an employee of the magazine for telecommunications technology and published on the history of the postal system.
