Potato crushing machine

The potato crushing machine was a device for crushing boiled or steamed potatoes for the purpose of feeding or for the production of alcohol .

In older times, roller mills were used for this , later blow-out devices were used.

For feeding purposes, mobile potato crushers were used, which consisted of a box, the bottom of which was made of iron rods. A crankshaft with iron arms chopped up the potatoes and crushed them so that they passed through the bars of the ground.
