A center pivot irrigation ( English center-pivot irrigation ), also known as carousel or circular irrigation watering referred becomes the irrigation of agricultural land use.

The rotating pivot irrigation has a central pump and a carrier with spray nozzles mounted on the rotor and running on wheels at its end. Particularly long girders are supported by several wheel racks. The intensity of the watering can be controlled via the rotation speed of the system. The pivot irrigation creates circular cultivation areas.
