The Kastamonu University (Turkish: Kastamonu Üniversitesi ) is a state university in the Turkish provincial capital Kastamonu . It was founded in 2006 and, with around 23,761 students, is one of the largest universities in Turkey.
The university library has an area of 20,000 m², over 50,000 books and can accommodate 500 visitors.
