The katariya is a hunting and war weapon from India, which is similar in function to the boomerang .
description
The katariya has a curved, double-edged, sickle-shaped blade. The handle is made of wood or horn. On place an ornament made of brass is attached. The Katariya is used by the Koles ethnic group in India as a hunting and defense weapon. The katariya is an extremely rare weapon. In contrast to the Valai Tade , the body of the Katariya is made of metal.
