The Katholisches Sonntagsblatt is the weekly newspaper of the Rottenburg-Stuttgart diocese .

The Catholic Sunday paper is the successor to the Sunday paper founded by Florian Rieß in 1850 for the Christian people . The owner is Schwabenverlag AG, part of the Schwabenverlag group of companies . The publisher is the bishop of the Rottenburg-Stuttgart diocese. The magazine is based in Ostfildern .

In the first quarter of 2018, the weekly newspaper had a sold circulation of 34,535 copies, of which 34,189 were to subscribers.
