Katrineholms SK

Katrineholms SK (short: KSK ) is a Swedish sports club from the city of Katrineholm . The club now has four sports departments, one each for bandy, bowling, soccer and athletics.

The association was founded on May 1, 1919.

Katrineholms SK Bandy

In the bandy area, the club is one of the classic clubs of this sport in Sweden. The club was particularly successful in the 1970s. During this decade, the men's team won three Swedish championships (and one runner-up) and the women's team won two national championships (five times runner-up). Today (2006/07 season) the men's A team plays in bandy in the second Swedish division (Division 1)

Katrineholms SK football

The football department has been less successful in its history. However, the club has already qualified three times for the second Swedish football league. Currently (2006 season) the men's team plays in the fifth division ( Division 3 Östra Svealand ).
